Why Arone

Everyday, 830 women die from pregnancy or childbirth related complications and over 1.6million women and children die every year in Africa due to untimely access to medical supply. Sub-Saharan Africa which accounts for over 50% of these deaths also have the lowest blood donation rates and poor accessibility to even the least available medical care. Arone is bridging the gap between rural and urban health care centers by setting up drone delivery stations at blood banks and medical supplies distribution centers to provide a faster delivery of vital medical products to neighboring rural and urban clinics on demand.
